Have seen this wader a couple of times at Pagham Harbour lately, first thought was a Greenshank (size is about spot on) but the beak seems far too shot. I'm probably missing something simple but I can't think what it is so any help would be great.
You got the "green" right, Mokey. It's Green Sandpiper. Excellent sharp photos.
