Who Came to Visit this Morning ???

Well spotted (pardon the pun ! ) Linda, what a fabulous bird to have visit your garden and so pleased that they appear to have had a good breeding year as just love these long distance flycatchers. Had one in our last garden just the once and beady eyed Mike spotted it but didn't know what it was - it was leaping up from one of the tall oak trees to grab at insects, landing back in the branches each time.
You just never know what you are going to see when you open those curtains each morning so keep the camera ready :)

What a fabulous catch, a spotted fly catcher that managed to turn up to the early morning garden party, and such a clear photo, even with obligatory twig in the way.

Thanks Hazel perhaps it followed me home from the Haugh as seen loads up there recently...mines was happily sitting on a newly planted silverbirch...the newish trees are certainly paying off with the WW still around aswell!
