Hi, first time posting here. I searched Google to no avail trying to identify these larvae I found. The closest I got was from an old post from 2011 on this forum, so thought asking here might be a good shout. Apologies if this is considered irrelevant. I have attached images, all are the same size as those shown with the penny for reference. My only lead is that I suspect a wasps nest has started in a nearby roofspace to where these were found, and it rained quite recently. It seems plausible they were washed out, however I cannot find anything of a similar appearance in UK wasp species.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Flies lay there eggs on meat such as chicken or waste food, these eggs turn into Maggots and the maggots then turn into a chrysalis as in your picture the chrysalis then turns into a fly. It’s a life cycle. If you put a life cycle of a maggot into the internet this should show pictures of it.
The correct answer is house fly pupae and they spend 48 ish hours in this state
