Yes Curlew - long curved beak.
Whimbrel tend to be smaller in size with a noticeable black cap and have a shorter less pronounced beak.
Sometimes with angles it's hard to tell a bird's beak length but to me I can't make out any Whimbrel - sometimes they can be seen with flocks of Curlew.
