Pheasant or Wood Pigeon are often good candidates I would risk a pound or so on Pheasant

Definitely a Pheasant though wouldn't like to guess whether a male or female.

It seems - as Robbo hinted at - that the majority of feathers found seem to be Pheasant so best to rule them out first and go from there.

Because of the stripes and dark rufous patches, it's probably a pheasant.
