Can anyone identify these? The pics are blurred as they were a long distance away, they flew low across the sea off Strumble Head in Pembrokeshire in early June. To me they have the shape of geese, but I can't see any geese that visit the UK which are predominantly dark with light coloured beaks. The second pic shows some lighter colouring on the wing of one of them. I don't think they are cormorants or shags as the beaks are wrong size/shape and body more bulky. If you aren't able to enlarge the pics then you probably won't be able to see them! Basically they are dark all over with a light/yellowish beak, and a light stripe on the wing on at least one.
