Please can you help me identify this bird of prey, I’m sorry the pictures aren’t excellent, but it was a long way away!

I’m sorry, it was a very long way away, and these were the only 2 shots I got with my very budget camera

I had a feeling it was either buzzard, or eagle because of its finger feathers on its wings, but I can’t be sure.

Buzzard for me also, that curved band on the chest is typical, def not a kite, and proportions re wingspan/body rule out Eagle

Golden or White Tailed are the only native residents , passage migrants of other eagle species are extremely rare. not sure how likely Golden might be in that area but White Tailed extremely unlikely although wandering juveniles can turn up anywhere.

We've had Common Buzzard, Marsh Harrier,W.T.Eagle and Golden Eagle suggested I still reckon it's going to end up in the "don't know " file
