I was walking from the fish n' chip shop in my village, Aldbrough, which is near Hornsea, when I noticed this bizarre feather. I immediately got back home and tried to find similar results, to no avail. I first thought it was a feather from a Eurasian kestrel but I was mistaken. I've searched for many other feathers and can't seem to find any matches. The feather itself has a tan colour with black stripes and distinct blotches, as well as a tan line running along one side of the feather, and a white line of a similar sort on the other side. To evidence my claims, I've attached an image of the aforementioned feather.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
