Rock or Meadow Pipit?

Question

I was in the north-east of England last week and saw these birds on Inner Farne (1) and Holy Island (2 and 3). I'm not sure whether they are rock or meadow pipits, both of which I know are found there. Can anyone identify them for me, please?

I would say 2 & 3 are Meadow Pipits because of their fine bills and clean markings. 
I think #1 is probably a Rock Pipit with its stouter bill and smudgier markings. It might even be a juvenile because there's a hint of a yellow gape.

Agree with TJ about 1 being a Rock and 2 being a Meadow.
