So I came back home and noticed a bird at the feeder I'd never seen before. I tried to quickly take a photo with my phone but honestly i was terrible. It was a beautiful little thing. A bright red head and bright red chest and about the size of the goldfinches that show up often. I tried to google but it kept saying redpoll but I read they're only winter visitors. Is it possible I had a linnet? I read the breeding plumage can look red?
