small green/brown bird - NE Scotland mixed pinewood / agricultural land

I saw this finch sized bird venturing into the margins of an agricultural field from a small mixed pinewood area. She does not resemble neither siskin, nor greenfinch - I would say it could be a crossbill, but the bill is not clearly visible. The video was taken from a distance, with zoom, improved a bit with image stabilisation. 

Any ideas?
