Hey there folks,
Hope everyone is well.
Just a quick one as my wife and I were around Dunwich Heath in Suffolk over the weekend and we spotted these two Stonechats flitting above the heather and gorse.
At first we thought they were new birds for us on our life list but could see through the bins that they were Stonechats. However, I thought I'd post these up as there were just two of them in the area, a male and female, moving together and displaying some very obvious and white (I think covert feathers?) and just stuck out from the usual Stonechats we'd seen for example along the sand dunes of Minsmere.
I've popped a couple of pics up on here and would be really appreciative if anyone can confirm whether they think these are Common Stonechat or perhaps a more rare visitor from the East?
Apologies for the low quality on these, I was on a full 600mm zoom and the light was bad with the heat haze across the heath.
Thanks so much and best wishes,
Mark
Pete
