Certainly lesser spotted by me, Linda, never seen one . But it does look like Lesser Redpoll in my books
The names can be abit misleading cause the common Redpoll isn’t actually common. The lesser Redpoll is common in the uk. So lesser redpoll is the one you more likely to see. It could be cause of the name that he’s convinced its a common Redpoll.
I think whoever invented the names of common redpoll and lesser Redpoll when they were first discovered should of called The more common one common so it doesn’t confuse people but never mind.
