Is it a juvenile or something? It was swimming with mallard and was the only one coloured like this.

I'm convinced that there is a lot of Mallard in this mix as indicated by the curly tail feathers but the head is a bit of a mystery. The colour looks a bit like a faded Pochard and maybe the head shape too but I'm not sure if those two cross breed. I think it might end up under thst horrible moniker of Manky Mallard. Be great if someone had better ideas as I strongly dislike that for a bird
