There's a one yellow with pink gills thats about 5cm long, a lot of babies that are white with pink gills around 2 cm long and a few browner ones with gills about 2cm as well.
Wow. I found one almost identical to this photo in my UK pond just yesterday. I assumed it must be an unusual coloration of a common newt as those are the only adults I have in my pond. I know my adults vary quite dramatically in colour so assume that there may also be variations in the colour of juveniles. One thing I have learned from years of watching wildlife - it’s never read the books to know what it’s supposed to look like
