nearly stood on this nest as i was walking in the hills in the North of Scotland,19/06/10
little brown bird flew off, thought it may be Twite. ????????????
Hi a doc
At a guess I'd say they were skylark eggs.
Cheers
Pipit
I agree with Pipit I have found this picture of skylark eggs to compare with and they look the same to me?

Hi a-doc and welcome to the RSPB Forums. Enjoy yourself here
In general, I would like to mention that it is really not a good thing to scare nesting parent birds from their eggs
It can cause the eggs to be abandoned if there is too much interference
I am sure that all our own intentions are good but it is better to leave well alone.

I'm sure a-doc wasn't stomping round Scotland deliberately scaring larks off their nests. I wouldn't call an accidental encounter with this nest 'interference' in the way you infer.
Best wishes
was,nt looking for nests was just out hillwalking
