Hi Jane and welcome to the RSPB Forum, enjoy yourself here
Your pictures are of a Pied Wagtail - Male in Summer Plumage, not an uncommon bird but still your photographs show how attractive a Pied Wagtail really gets. T
There are White Wagtails but they are rare in the UK - not to confuse the species.

Hi
Help please
I am a disabled War Pensioner and home alone. I spend a lot of time feeding the birds as I am almost confined to the home now and they are great company. This week I saw a bird that I doubt is from the UK and can't identify it, so thought you clever people may help?
It was predominantly brown, about the size of a Starling, but it had a large wingspan and it's wing feathers were amazing and included tourquoise coloured feathers. Any ideas please?
Thanks
Mo x
Hi Mozza
Could it have been a Jay? They are very beautiful birds.
