over the last 2 weeks, plus / minus, this year we in our smallish suburban garden have found a yellow dollop on the lawn which at first glance looks like scrambled egg, now this is not just a tablespoon size dollop but on occasions more a saucer full..
Anybody have any clues to where it came from (regret that I never took a pic of it, will do next time though) be it fox or possibly of a hedgehog..??
Any ideas please.... Could one possibly send a sample to a laboratory?
Best wishes all
Could it be Fox vomit, being scavengers and eating all sorts, they are worse than drunks on Friday night for vomiting all over the place? Believe it or not thats a pic (courtesy of google) of their vomit below but not yellow ewwwwww!.

Greetings Shane.
Thank you for your reply but regret to say the droppings / poo from that pic is nothing like it, the dying leaf on the left of the pic is more of it's colour and consistant of a plate of scrambled egg.
Can I assume there is nothing that flies that could make a discharge whilst flying by? (just a wild thought)
Thanks again

Hi Oldie
I cannot think of anything that flies that could discharge such a large amount but if there is I'm sure someone in here can help as they are a helpful crowd, if there is something that can do it and it is identified I hope I'm never underneath it ;o)
regards
hahahaaa...Likewise Shane
Am never in the vicinity when it happens and like you say: Hope I'm never underneath it (smile)
Anyway Shane, thanks for reading and making contact, at least now I know ppls are reading the posts.
Pics taken with the next episode,,, but where could I send a sample to....if such a thing is possible?
Best wishes
Where to send a sample too I could not say maybe a local zoo or something similar they might check on it for you for a donation because at a guess whoever checked on it would want paying? Of course the colour in the pick I attached is only that colour due to what was in it, the colour of your sample could still be vomit but the fox has been eating something else maybe even wild bird eggs?
Hi Shane
You seem to be posting your threads twice, and for some reason the safety feature on the boards that shouldn't allow duplicate threads doesn't seem to be working.
You only need to click on Post once. :-)
You can always go back and edit them to delete the duplicates.
Best wishes Chris

Hi oldie
It would be very expensive to send a sample to a laboratory just to check on what produced it. Laboratories don't usually do 'one offs' for private individuals, they usually do regular work for large companies.
It's just one of those mysteries in life that might never reveal its secrets
Hello Chris.
Many thanks also for your input and yes, I feel sure you would be right with reference going to a zoo and of possible costs, I suppose I could do a little bit of investagive work with my ancient microscope and a small stanley knife..LOL..oh well, I'll have now to wait the next load of egg poo (assuming it is poo) mysteriously appears....LOL....call in Shirlock Holmes...all smile.
Thank you Chris & Shane for your imput, It was appreciated
