We have Jackdaws as regular visitors to our garden. Recently, we have been visited by what we assume is a Jackdaw; It's shape, it's size and markings are as a Jackdaw. However, it 's body is light brown in colour with the head a milky brown.
Has anyone seen one like this? Is it a youngster?
Sounds like a Jackdaw with some kind of pigment abnormality (normal Jackdaw fledglings are black like their parents). It would be great to see photos if you have any :)

Hi,
I've seen a few leucistic jackdaws over the years both in the field and in photos- seems to be unusual but not incredibly rare occurrence :)
