Thanks MarJus, Kathy and TeeJay, that's very kind of you. I see quite a lot of the rear ends of "my" male and female pied wagtails - usually as soon as they hear me pick up the camera!
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Squirrel, I had noticed your answer.
But as per usual the photo didn't appear at my end!
I think S must have missed your reply if it is a Pied Wagtail.
As chairman you certainly have my vote and well done for getting it correct.
