Mystery roof bird :)

  • OK, that's it.  I've had enough.  First  it was copulating doves, then two-headed sparrows, and now this.  If I wanted to see birds wiggling their bare backsides at me, I'd go down Gosport High Street at 2 am on a Saturday as the clubs are chucking out...

And for the love of God, Seymouraves, can you run an ID competition for duffers pleeease?  Like, one where you can see the whole bird, which has the correct number of legs and no funny plumage and is exactly where it's supposed to be.  Maybe it could be a robin or a blue tit or something.

Pass me the Prozac, I'm going for a lie down.

  • my guess is a pied wagtail :)

Oh, BB. you had me rolling on the floor with laughter with this post. The vision you painted of Gosport High  Street on a Saturday night will live with me for a long time. We sometimes take ourselves a bit too seriously. I'm glad you don't.

PS I thought it was a pied wagtail except for the pink legs, so I give up

  • Hi Seymouraves,

Sorry, but I can't see your last picture above this post.

Please could you explain why your pied wagtail has pink legs when mine has black legs?

    Cheers, Linda.

Yes Sparrow same here, and such chunky looking legs too, my wagtails legs look so thin and delicate that if you blew too hard on them they would snap. I can't see the picture either.
