Red Wing
There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.
A goldcrest - only without the gold crest? Or a garden warbler?
I would also say a warbler. Possibly Radde's Warbler if it was autumn, but the yellow band over the eye is faint
Best wishes Chris

I think a warbler too. I'm going for a Whitethroat.

Wow, that's exciting. Six months ago, I didn't know a blue tit from a buzzard. Even if the mystery bird turns out not to be any kind of warbler at all, I can't believe I made a suggestion that's in the same ball park as people who actually know what they're talking about.

Hi BB
I laughed out loud at this comment. I will admit to knowing a tit from a buzzard but I wouldn't guarantee that I know much about most identifications are on here.
I just had a look through my book and came up with an idea that might be correct. It's much more likely to be wrong. However, someone will come along who does know what they are talking about and they will instantly know the right answer.
Unlikely but, Rose-coloured Starling?
Camera always at the ready!!

I have to say that it's very difficult from this angle and we don't know how big the bird is.
Seymour, please can you give us any clues?
