Hi All,
Picture of a tiny little baby newt found in the garden, can anyone help with an ID please?...
Thanks

How big was it?
Have you got a photo that shows the hind feet clearly? There appears to be clear definition of the toes in front so I am leaning towards Common newt. - they tend to spend most of the year on land - under stones and log piles and return to the water to breed.

Looks like a Common Newt to me as Caroline says.

Thanks All,
I suspected Common Newt but this little fella was tiny as just a baby so I wasn't 100% sure.
No these are the only shots that I have I don't have any showing the hind feet any better I'm afraid!...
