Dunlin is possible is the feet are showing - hard to tell from here - they are dumpy birds
Dunlin's have long bills in comparsion with their body so a Dunlin is possible.

Yups- you can see his 'knees' just at water level, so the legs are very long from body to knee, and the feathers of the mantle are grey and rufous,
It's a Black tailed Godwit :))

Well done Littleowl. These quizzes are all good practise for those of us that don't get to see these birds very often. I'm consoled by the fact that I got the genus right if not the species.LOL
