This little chap/chapess landed on my sunflower heart feeder earlier. Have I got a brand new visitor? Is it a greenfinch? He arrived all on his own. No friends or cousins.

Hi Sparrow, my Goldfinch hasn't been back, I've now got my nyjer seed hanging up, (so everything crossed ) I soooo hope he will be back. Saying that though I was quite busy yesterday, and I've been out all day today, so he might have been back I just don't know really. I wonder if birds are just dropping in and disappearing again because they are on there way to breeding grounds, I don't know if this happens, it's just something I have been wondering about.
