i know they are summer visiors, but just really looks like one, same features!
Hi Dani, it does look like a tree pipit in its spring plumage doesn't it, I wouldn't like to guess as to what it is though, my track record for identifying birds isn't very good, I'm a newbie.
There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed.
hi Dani
It looks like a Meadow Pipet to me (have seen one in an open field one on of my walks with my local groups)
The reason is due to the dark markings form the gape to throat area - not much white in the throat area as the Tree Pipet shows
Tree Pipets are a lot rarier birds too.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the beak looks more finch-like than pipit-like?
Millie & Fly the Border Collies
Hi guys,
It's actually a Reed Bunting.
The underpart streaks are rufous not blackish and the tail is way too long for a Mipit. The heavy blue bill is just visible on a blow up. :)

I see Bunting and would tick Seymouraves! It looks a touch yellow, where was it taken?
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Hi,
adult females in winter can have a buff suffusion to the throat and breast
:)
Hi Dani,
Seymouraves has correctly identified the bird for you.
You may find the following two links of assistance. They will give you very detailed information on both
