I'll have another go, Pink footed, although White fronted has more of a forehead, so I'm torn between these two.

well it was a Pink footed Goose, it's a small compact goose, almost duck-like as someone said. The neck is short and the bill stubby. The pale forewing was a good pointer and it didnt have a huge Greylag Conk on the front.

Knock me over with a feather again. I love doing these even though I get them wrong most of the time, it certainly helps with learning how to identify birds, I never knew there was so many things you have to look at when identifying them. I look forward to the next one.
