How to stop Magpies scoffing the feeders

Hi Daveion and welcome to the community forum;     you could try using a ground guardian and put good inside that on a tray;   I have used this method and only the smaller birds can gain access,  just ensure there is no food too near the edge of the mesh as the magpie will reach through and take it !        This Guardian cage does work extremely well and there is a flat roof narrow mesh size a little bit cheaper. HERE .

I thought that might be the type of solution.
I am a retired Engineer and think I can knock something like this up in my workshop on a feeder table. Mesh size?

4cm square is the size;     I would try get mesh that is plastic coated so it doesn't rust or have any sharp edges.   Your engineering skills will come in handy so good luck.
