Hi, I feed the birds everyday but rarely have any scraps for them (Im too greedy!) but i do have potato peelings, is there anything i can do with them which will make them tasty for the birds. I mostly have pigeons and a pair of crows with the occasional magpie and sparrows. Thanks very much. June

Hi June
How about boiling them in non-salted water and then mashing them up, you could also mix in some mixed seed to the mash as well?

Yes boil and mash them and you can mix allsorts in with them. Why not boil an egg.

I often do extra potatoes for the birds, mashed or boiled they soon devour them, especially the naughty, squabbling starlings!
The early bird catches the worm. No wonder I`m always starving!
