Fluffed up chaffinch sitting on lawn - Trichomonosis?

Hi, I've seen a couple of chaffinches sitting in my garden fluffed up and very reluctant to fly away when I enter the garden - the last birds to go. Is this an indication of Trichomonosis? I've taken the sunflower feeder down as a precaution. Was this the correct thing to do? D
