Ah - thanks Alan. I suspect we don't get many of those, so might just go back to the mixed seeds, mainly for sparrows and bluetits.
Ah. It might have been a different reason. I gave the feeder a thorough wash (as it had been unused for a few weeks) and also put some of the mixed seeds at the bottom so they would be first out . . . and it has seemed more popular over the past two days. Will keep an eye and see if the black sunflower seeds are going. If not, we'll have some lovely blooms this year!
