Not the best of quality, and in hindsight I should have opened the window for better sound. Taken through the kitchen window on my phone yesterday morning. The usual few moments of madness when the morning feed goes out.
-EDIT- Posted on the wrong forum, oops.!! I'm not actually asking any questions or looking for any answers .....well.....not about this anyway.!! :-)
My bird photos HERE
Good grief, Paul--what do your neighbours think about all those birds?! You are rivalling Hazy for Jackdaw numbers! And I thought half a dozen Jackdaws made for chaos!
Kind regards, Ann
Hi Ann, the neighbours have never mentioned them. These kind of numbers are only seen first thing in the morning though, the rest of the day sees the birds in more sensible numbers.
lol Paul, I love it, what a great sight ! If you need to add to the excitement I can send you 22 squirrels !!

The Gulls were a nice touch! I noticed that the Spadgers mostly kept to the perimeter. Sensible birds.

I think I'll pass on the squirrels Hazel, the birds are quite enough excitement for me.
I scatter a handfull of 'no mess' seeds at the perimeter MC, it gives the wee birds a fighting chance first thing in the morning.
Crikey, what a corvid fest plus some others. Reminds me of Hitchcock's "The Birds".

Great Paul, I liked to see the crow just making his mark and all the others stepping back! Even the gulls flew away! I couldn't get the sound up but can just imagine the noise, my jackdaws are quite noisy enough with the young calling perpetually for food.
Lot to learn
Great view Paul. I am particularly jealous of the gulls. Some brownish small birds (appearing between 2 and 2.10 from the left of the frame and again at 2.48) - what are they? I think I spotted white on the chest of one (2.48) but I am not sure.

Thanks Marina, the Gulls are a relatively new occurrence; they used to circle but have only started landing in the last few months. The wee brown birds I’m sure are House Sparrows, we do have a youngster coming about who is quite light coloured compared to the rest of them.
You are very lucky to have the gulls, I am surprised that the gulls in our area haven't decided to descend yet (I love gulls!). The sparrows are very brave to get down with the corvids!
