Feeding Advice

Hello, I am new to this forum and have just discovered the pleasure of feeding garden birds. Iin my back garden, I have a mixture of hanging feeders, sunflower seed, suet pellets, fat balls; and also feed meal worms and suet pellets on the ground. I also have a pond and small bird baths. There are lots of Starlings and House Sparrows visiting as well as ground feeders. I have 3 Sunflower feeders hanging in my tree in my front garden, which are visited by lots of Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Tits. The Robin also likes to hop on the tray when he can! When do I start to reduce feeding? How does it work? I want to feed all year but also want to encourage the birds to forage naturally during Spring-Autumn. Do I stop feeding the Suet Pellets & Fat Balls and concentrate on seeds and peanut kibbles? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you! Lainy
