Tawny's galore on my local patch!!

Here are 2 of the 3 tawny chicks that I was stood watching tonight in my local woods in leeds. The photo was taken on my phone so u can imagine how close I was to them. They weren't the slightest bit fazed even with me holding my little dog in my arms whilst pointing my phone towards them!! One of the parents was around keeping an eye on them, and a pair of magpies were getting sly pecks in on one chick which was sat on its own. It was as if they were picking on it and teasing it. Not nice to see but the maggies then took flight and disappeared. I could of stayed all night!! I think I may have to call back with my dslr and tripod tomoro night!! I was so excited to see them, I had to get straight on here to share!!
