Specifically got this feeder to place on my house wall,so need to remove the suckers, which according to the RSPB shop description,is an easy thing to do. Alas, not for me. Have tried pulling them quite hard, but have given up now,for fear of damaging the feeder.
Hoping there's someone out there, who's bought one of these and removed them.
Thanks,Colin
Hello Colin,
these suckers can stick really tight to surfaces. But you could try to lift a small part with your fingernail(carefully), and "work yourself forward", until air can reach the inner part of the sucker and the feeder falls off. Be careful to catch it in time, before it can fall down and get broken.
Good luck with that, and kind regards.
Bente
Thank you for your quick response Bente, but that isn't my problem. I actually want to remove the suckers from the actual feeder,so I can put it on my wall. Guess it would still be ok,with the suckers left on.
Thanks,Colin.
oh, I see, I am sorry for the misunderstanding! I hope someone else has a solution for your problem.
Yours, Bente
Yeah,I reckon so Alan. Would actually love a window feeder, but never know exactly, when the window cleaner's coming.
