Hello I took these photos at distance in a field near RSPB Blacktoft sands the photos are rubbish I know, but I was taking a photo of a pheasant at the time and after reviewing the photo I noticed these birds in the background Is it possible to ID them. ?

Your pics are good enough to pick out details of a couple of the birds. It's also a question of what is most likely: brownish medium sized birds with upright stance, short tails, short thick bills, big dark eyes in a flock in a stubble field = Golden Plover.

I've found a photo of Golden Plover which I took at Titchwell Marsh last month so you can compare them 

Spot on in my eyes Hazel but that doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to me  identifying birds but I can certainly see the similarities. Thank you again Hazel
