Saw this pigeon in the garden and wondered if it was ill. I've never seen anything like it before. The reason I ask is that I regularly feed the birds and this area is where a lot of birds will feed from. Do I need to give the area a good clean?

Could just be finishing off the moulting process so should look better as the new feathers grow through fully.
