I'm in N/W England and this morning found a patch of frog spawn in a drainage ditch which drains into a grid/the sewer in my garden, what do I do with it? I have no pond, there are no ponds nearby and the ditch will be filled in soon as it's part of drainage works happening in my garden. I read this normally happens in early Spring but it's currently the end of September! Any advice? Should I relocated it?
Do you have a photo by any chance?

Sorry to continue - the advice is not to move frog/toad spawn due to the risk of introducing disease into different areas - as you say it is a very peculiar time of year for there to be frog spawn and it would be doubtful that it's viable
Hi! Its dark outside currently so I'll take a picture tomorrow. I was very thrown off when I saw it this morning so I just covered it over to keep it safe
