I'm very concerned about the proliferation of seagulls in north London over the last couple of months. All we hear are their squawks as they circle over our gardens.
As a result, nearly all our garden birds seem to have disappeared - eaten? What's the solution? It's very worrying
There is no connection between the number of chip-snatchers and garden birds, so worry not.
I'm surprised at your take on this - btw there are no chips in our north London gardens, only squirrels (still alive & well) & garden birds - no longer audible or visible
The absence of garden birds in the Autumn is a common observation - see this website for an explanation:

It's got nothing to do with gulls. There is no need to worry.
