Found this house sparrow in my garden badly injured on one side of its face. Looks like half of its face is gone and its eye is gone and skull is broken in pieces missing a part. I got tissue and stopped the bleeding but what can I do to help it.
The top beak is badly damaged too missing the top of the top beak . This happened around 10 hours ago its still alive now
If it survives overnight then the kindest thing you can do is to get it to a Vet so that it can be put out of it's misery!

Its still alive now, I gave it food but don't think it's fair for it to live like that. Must be in a lot of pain
Did the poor thing survive the night?
It is still alive but not eating. It just sits with eye closed and occasionally stretches it's wings and legs then closes back to keeping eye closed
Please take it to a vet, they usually deal with wildlife for free, don't let it suffer any longer!
