I have a starling fledgling in my loft. They nest in the eaves. There was an adult that flew out when I opened the skylight but the baby is still there. What should I do?
Does the youngster look as if it is close to leaving the nest ... Are you able to leave your skylight open so parent can come back in to feed it and encourage it the leave?

It doesn’t fly very well. It’s stopped crying for mum. They get through internally so hoping mum will return. It looks sad.
Looks too early, as it's a starling, to be out.
Nice pic, do hope parent comes back to see to baby ... btw, this is an open forum so may be wise not to display your email address to prevent any abusive or scam emails?
