Are these both common buzzards with ravens?

I believe the smaller buzzard may be an immature bird. With the larger buzzard, is this just it's colouring or is it's colouring linked to it's age?

Oh dear, I had that completely the wrong way round. Thank you seymouraves.
So I assume that the pale bird over time will get darker?
Is the pale buzzard bigger because it may be a female or possibly just the way the two birds are each standing?

It could be female, but I've actually heard that juveniles are sometimes bigger than the adults because they essentially need stabilisers to help them with flight - which may be the reason Seymouraves has id'd it as immature

Thank you BenjiS. When I saw the birds i had mistakenly thought the largest bird would be the parent.
Then after posting I saw in a book that the female may be larger.
Interesting to hear the bigger bird would be more stable for flying and is the younger.
