How can I deter oyster catchers from pecking at my window

I presume it is the glass Angela and not the wood or plastic surround. They will be seeing their own reflection and think it is another bird. Put something on the glass to detere them, clingfilm, or stick on foil or newspaper. You can buy window stickers and cling to put on the glass. Have a look on amazon. Will attach a link for you.

It would be really interesting to see this behaviour if you have the chance to video it please. Oyster Catchers are not well known for their interactions with human environments and it might give an opportunity to see if it is a territorial behaviour

if you have set it as unlisted click on the video 

then click on this icon 

Then the video will come up copy and paste it and it will link it to the unlisted video instead of private 

if you set it to public you can just find it in the search bar and send the link
