We have a bird box which had a nest with 6 blue tit chick's. ( theres a camera in the box).Parents have not been seen today and at least 3 chick's appear to have died. Is there anything we can do to rescue the remaining chicks?
Hello Susan, sorry no one has answered, the site is quiet at the moment. I am afraid there is nothing you can do to help, it is sad to watch and see when things have gone wrong, but it is nature and we have to leave well alone. It is an offence to interfere with any nesting site and even with wanting to help, if allowed, to rear small chicks would be very difficult, they would need specialist help. Fingers crossed the parents may return.
