Hi everyone
I am relatively new to bird watching (2/3 years). I moved house recently and discovered 2 robin boxes in a hedge so I cleaned one up and put it back. She must of literally jumped straight in and started building. Had 3 healthy nestlings fledge and stay with dad for good 2/3 weeks in ours and next doors garden. I’ve always wondered after that period if they find a new territory after the parents finally stop feeding them? I know mortality rate is high but they was flying well etc. Wondered if anyone more experienced had any ideas on this subject?
