Robin With Feather Mites

Question

I have a pair of nesting robins in my garden, one of which I suspect has feather mites. Is there any way I can help? Additionally, should I clean the feeding station to stop other birds from becoming infected?

Hi Maddy, I am not sure if there is anything you can do re: mites....several parent become bedraggled during breeding season..hopefully all will be fine. As for the feeders they should be cleaned on a regular basis to stop and spread of infection
