Unfledged pigeon brought in as a "gift" from our cat this morning. Its eyes are still shut, but it seems to be uninjured. It needs hydration, but I don't know the correct ratio of water/salt/sugar.Thanks
Ideally the fledgling needs to returned to the wild ASAP, and the chances are the nest is not going to be too far away. With that in mind, the fledgling requires minimal contact to maintain its wild state and any chance of returning to the wild and surviving.
Probably the first call should be and ASAP made to your local Wildlife Trust, or RSPB Centre, both of whom should have details on suitable sanctuaries,
Failing that, the RSPCA or your vet.
There may be someone who has more or better suggestions, and I hope they will share their suggestions.
