Swallow bird

I found a baby swallow dead under the nest. I don't know what to do. The other two look like they are struggling. I don't see the parents coming back and bringing them food and water. There was one moment when it looked like they were fighting. Is there a way to save them? I tried to reach and give water to them but it was just too far away. What can i do?

Also, the heat is extreme it's too hot outside I think they all might die

  • Do you have a garden? If so water your lawn to encourage insects or do you know where the swallows were getting their mud to nest with? if you are able to make sure it's still damp/wet then the adults will be able to supply water - it's possible that the parents are having to hunt further away to supply food so feeding frequency might have reduced. They will not be brooding in this heat, they will also be feeding much earlier and later.
