We have some by our house in Scotland and regularly perch high up in the trees and are nesting up in at least one oak. Is this a common behaviour or something new?
Don't think I've ever seen a greylag goose in a tree, let alone nesting in a tree.....
BTW, this has a duplicate post, and I've linked that one to this, with the message there are replies already here, to try and save any further duplication.
