Here I am suffering another bout of insomnia and sat here editing a few pictures that made me smile so I thought a little compilation was called for!!...

Clare, The insomnia is purely due to my hip/back problem. I'm basically waiting for a new hip but they won't do it as I'm 'too young' apparently (makes a change to be too young!!LOL) Any way it keeps me awake as I can't get comfortable, I could take pain killers but I choose not to unless it gets really bad. This may well go on for some time so I refuse to throw endless quantities of tablets down my throat until I'm at the stage of having to!...

How old are you, Higgy? Don't let them put you off for too long.....my husband waited for 28 years to have knee replacements that were extremely necessary. He was always told he was too young......until the day he was told he'd deteriorated too much.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
LOL, I'm 44, I know what you mean. It's a difficult thing as I would still have restricted movements and technology also moves on so fast these days....
I've heard talk of a potential new hip being developed in a Bristol hospital that will last a life time! This makes you think that maybe a year or two may make a huge difference....
